FAQ's

Here we will post our most frequently asked questions about the online parking payment service, and general parking questions.

  1. Q: What happens if I'm parking in between the time intervals (DAY rate and NIGHT rate) and they overlap? A: If your parking times overlap you have to pay for both intervals. For example, if you park at 3:00PM but you are staying until 8:00PM you must pay the DAY and the NIGHT rates combined. For example, at parking lot "A" the DAY rate is $15 and the NIGHT rate is $10, therefor you will need to purchase a pass value of ($15+$10) $25.00 to have your parking covered otherwise your parking will expire at the end of the DAY rate time (6:00PM). Your parking time commences from the time and date of your purchase and will have an expiry time of either 6:00PM (day rate) or 6:00AM (night rate).

  2. Q: Why does it ask me for shipping details at my checkout when I am only paying for an online pass? A: Because we also offer monthly parking at select locations, we need to offer shipping options for those who need the physical pass sent in the mail and there isn't a way (currently) to disable it for online payments.

  3. Q: Can I prepay for my parking online before I arrive with my vehicle? A: No, all online payments must be made when you have secured a parking space. Due to the demand for parking there is a possibility that you may not find a spot upon arrival. You can renew your parking remotely if your vehicle is already parked in the parking lot.

  4. Q: What happens if my vehicle was towed? A: All of our parking enforcement services are conducted by Toronto Police parking enforcement. All parking infractions issued are city of Toronto parking tickets issued by Toronto police. We cannot cancel or dispute these tickets, you will have to do so with Toronto police. If your vehicle has been towed, you will have to contact Toronto police at 416-808-2222 to recover your vehicle. There are fee's associated with recovering your vehicle and these are all collected through the tow company and/or Toronto Police.

  5. Q: I entered my license plate incorrectly, what should I do? A: Contact us as soon as possible, either by email at nationalonlineparking@gmail.com or by phone at 416-878-2843 or open the chat icon on our website and send us your order number and the correct license plate information. If a license plate is entered incorrectly, or the wrong amount of parking was purchased your vehicle may be ticketed and/or towed. Please send us the correct information as soon as possible and ensure you purchase the correct amount of parking as needed.

Hopefully these FAQ's helped answer any questions you may have. If you have any questions of your own, please feel free to contact us at any time.
